BASSETERRE, St.Kitts, June 17th 2011 -  Come this afternoon (Friday), Princes Street in downtown Basseterre comes alive with lots of fun and excitement with a St. Kitts Music Festival Block Party from 2pm- 8pm.
 
All party goers, fun seekers and Music Festival enthusiasts are asked to come on out and support the event  in the count down to the three nightly extravaganza June  23-25 at Warner Park.
 
This entertaining session, is being put on by the St. Kitts Music Festival Local Promotions Committee.
 
There will be lots of giveaways will be including Music Festival tickets.
 
Rocking the sound system will be the first ever title holder of the St. Kitts Music Festival DJ Sound Clash, Chalice Sound International. Mixclusive Sound will provide music mixing as well.
 
The action winds down later tonight with the 'Sweetest Band in the World', the Small Axe Band.
