Another female Kittitian excels academically

Sasha Shenequa Boncamper and her plaques and medals awarded for academic excellence

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – ANOTHER young female Kittitian has made herself, family members and the nation proud through her performance in the academic arena by topping her business class with a 4.0 Grade Point Average.

     

    She is Sasha Shenequa Boncamper, who graduated on Saturday, June 11, 2011 from the Monroe College’s Bronx campus at the Jacob Javits K Convention Center situated at 655 West 34th Street, New York City.

     

    According to information reaching SKNVibes, Boncamper was conferred with a degree in Business Administration, majoring in Accounting, and was the only graduate of the programme to achieve a 4.0 GPA.

     

    Boncamper was the recipient of two plaques and a similar amount of medals for her academic achievements. And she was truly recognised on the College’s Commencement Day when the Academic Dean asked each graduate with a 4.0 GPA in their relating majors to stand before the large audience to be recognised for their academic excellence.

     

    The Kittitian scholar had completed her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting on December 16, 2010 and was presented her first plaque and medal at an indoor ceremony of the College on March 18, 2001.

     

    In an effort to alleviate expenses, Boncamper has been working and studying from the commencement of her second semester.

     

    She was working at the Accounting Laboratory within the College’s Accounting Department where she tutored and performed duties in Bookkeeping, Payroll, Accounts Receivables and Payables.

     

    Because of the efficiency and professionalism demonstrated in completion of her tasks, Boncamper’s boss was impressed with her performance and has offered her a permanent job within the College’s Accounting Department.

     

    Sasha Shenequa Boncamper had given thanks to Almighty God; her father Don Boncamper, General Manager of TDC’s St. Kitts Automotive Division; her mother Joycelyn; siblings Deverson, Kishma; and her niece Sheneka Boncamper for the motivation and encouragement they provided throughout her climb on the academic ladder of success.
