The programme will be held during the period 19th June 2011 – 1st July 2011.

The aim of the programme, is to support the development and strengthening of the capabilities of senior leaders within the Commonwealth Caribbean Region; by drawing on the latest thinking and best practice concerning their role, remit and issues of priority to Public Sector Leaders and, by providing an opportunity to explore together ways of applying that knowledge in their national context.

The programme will focus on the following areas:-

    • Strategic vision, setting direction and doing the ‘right’ things.
    • Building effective political and intra – government relations and cooperation
    • Increasing the excellence of public service delivery

“We are quite excited about this opportunity. It will provide the necessary support to help us achieve our vision for a professional service and will position our officers to enhance their role in implementing government’s policy objectives,” said acting Cabinet Secretary Gemma Bain-Thomas.
