St. JOHN'S Antigua, June 17th 2011 – The public is asked to note that in accordance with the Customs Management and Duties Act, 2010 (No. 6 of 2010), the title of Comptroller of Customs has been renamed to Commissioner of Customs, the public officer appointed to be in charge of customs.

Mr. Wade Smith, previously addressed as comptroller is now officially the Commissioner of Customs.

His Excellency the Governor Boyd McCleary, CMG, CVO signed the act on September 24, 2010 which came into effect on February 15, 2011 and gazetted on February 17, 2011.
