    It was a proud moment for the family and friends of Carelle Daunette Sheurese Samuel of Ponds Pasture, Basseterre. Carelle, the eldest child of Carl and Eldora Samuel (former Headmistress of the Deane-Glasford Primary School) graduated with a B.A in Business Management and Administration from the City College of New York, the City University of New York on Friday 1st June 2007.
     

    As a student Carelle was deeply involved in many activities and made a significant contribution to the City College of New York for which she received several Awards.

     

    These include the City Women of the City of New York award in recognition of outstanding contributions to campus live, the John H. Finley Award also for showing exemplary service to campus life both in 2005 and 2005 and in 2005, she received a citation from the New York State Assembly/Senate Puerto Rican/ Hispanic Task Force for a program in which she was involved.

     

     
    From 2003 to 2006 she performed the role of Orientation Leader and College Assistant and in May 2007 she received the Division Student Affairs.
     
    Carelle expresses her thanks for Almighty God for bringing her to this level in her life. Thanks are also extended to her praying mother, and the moral and financial support of her family. Members of her family traveled from home and various parts of the U.S for this auspicious occasion.
     
    Carelle received her education at the Victoria Road Pre-School, St. Peter’s Primary School (Deane-Glasford Primary School), Basseterre Junior High (Washington Archibald High School) The Basseterre High School and the Clarence Fitzroy Bryant College.                                                                                                    ~~Adz:Right~~
