BASSETERRE St. Kitts, June 20th 2011 - Five central locations have been identified by the organizers of the St. Kitts Music Festival, for the sale of tickets, ahead of this week’s extravaganza, that is being hosted at the Warner Park Stadium in Basseterre.
According to a spokesperson for the 3 day event, tickets are now on sale and can be purchased at the Festivals Secretariat at Port Zante, NR Sales and the Ticket Shop, both on Fort Street, during normal working hours.
The official however indicated that, tickets will also be made available on the actual days of the concerts, Thursday, Friday and Saturday, from the Warner Park Ticket Booth, on Victoria Road, starting at 6:00pm each evening.
In addition, visitors who are here for the festival and may be residing in the Frigate Bay area, which is the main tourist belt on the island, may also utilize the services of the ticket station that will be located in the lobby of the St. Kitts Marriott Hotel, site of the accommodation for the international and regional artistes who are scheduled to appear.
The Music Festival representative explained that these ticket locations have been made available to assist the thousands of fans who are hoping to avoid the long lines that are the norm, when patrons elect to delay their purchases until the actual night of the concerts, just before the artistes are scheduled to appear.
The organizers have made certain that ticket prices remain affordable, especially in these challenging times, so that the maximum number of fans, from here in the Federation and overseas, can exercise the option of attending all three nights of concerts.
Nightly ticket prices are EC$100 while a special package deal has been made available for patrons interested in a Season Ticket, which will cost only EC$270.00, allowing a savings of some EC$30.00.
Given the high quality of artistes that have been confirmed for each concert night, organizers are confident that fans will be getting more than value for their monetary support.
The St. Kitts Music Festival provides an unforgettable experience and is organized by the Ministry of Tourism in St. Kitts as part of its marketing strategy to attract visitors to the country. This is the 15th year of the festival.
