Police are investigating two separate shooting incidents that occurred in the Basseterre area on the night of Friday 29th June 2007.
At approximately 10:00 p.m. at Newtown, a forty-five (45) year old male of the Basseterre area was grazed across his head by a bullet fired at him by a lone gunman. He was treated for his injury at the J.N.F. General Hospital and later discharged. ~~Adz:Right~~
At approximately 10:30 p.m. at McKnight, a sixteen (16) year old male of the same area was shot in his knee while walking through an alley. He was treated for his injury at the J.N.F. General Hospital where he is detained for further treatment.
Investigations are ongoing in both incidents and Police are requesting that any person(s) who may have information relevant to these investigations, to contact the Criminal Investigations Department. They may do so by calling 465-2241 Extensions 220 / 230 / 236 and they can do so anonymously.
