St. Kitts Entertainment Weekend Round up

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – MANY people have been preparing themselves for this weekend as it is the long awaited 15th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival weekend. Apart from the three night event at Warner Park, there are other places to consider if your pockets cannot afford the festival. 

     

    Friday June 23, 2011

     

    G-Spot in Sandy Point - ‘Feel Good Fridaze’ with ‘Madness Part 2’ featuring DJs Six A Clack, Shaggy and DJ Ninja who will be rocking you from as early as 6:00 p.m.

     

    Ziggy’s Bar on the Frigate Bay Strip - A mixture of music by DJ Gallis from 9:00 p.m. The atmosphere is usually a blend of young and older folks.

     

    Potential Bar on Cayon Street – An after festival lime with the Small Axe Band and DJ Yardy. The crowd is usually a young one.

     

    Family and Friends Bar on the Frigate Bay Strip – Live music by Bruce Famous from Super Sting. This DJ hails from New York and is one of the Bronx’s top DJs. The action kicks off from 10:00 p.m.. The bar normally sees a mixed crowd.

     

    Warner Park Cricket Stadium on Victoria Road – The second night of the 15th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival with performances by Gyptian, Demarco, Konshens, Black Ryno, Maxi Priest, Coco Tea and Yellow Man.

    Reggae Beach at South East Peninsula
    – Reggae Beach Party from 12:00 noon with drink and food specials, treasure hunt, volleyball tournament and music by CJ De DJ.  

     

    Warner Park Cricket Stadium on Victoria  Road - The final night of the 15th Annual St. Kitts Music Festival with performances by singer Jah Cure, Commodores, Fantasia and East Meets West. 

     

    The Basement on Cayon Street – This venue will kick off from 3:00 p.m. and the heat will be on until 10:00 p.m. with live music by the Kassanova Band and EK. From 11:30 p.m., they will feature the festival after party with DJ Ronnie Rascal and DJ Kevy Kev from out of Florida.

     

    Ziggy’s Bar on the Frigate Bay Strip – All night music ‘juggling’ by DJ Yardy.

     

    Family and Friends Bar on the Frigate Bay Strip – Live music by Bruce Famous from Super Sting. This DJ hails from New York and is one of the Bronx’s top DJs. The action kicks off from 10:00 p.m.. The bar normally sees a mixed crowd.

     

    Sunday June 25, 2011 

     


    Ziggy’s Bar on the Frigate Bay Strip
    - A variety of music by DJ Yardy from 8:00 p.m. with a more mature crowd setting. 
     
    Dock’s Bar on the Frigate Bay Strip - Live music by the Fourplay Band from 8:00 p.m. This is a regular feature at Dock's Bar on Sundays and it usually attracts many middle-aged couples and a few younger ones.

     

    Spice Mill at South East Peninsular – Spice Fest from 2:00 p.m. with live music by East Meets West, Green House Band, KC5 Band and performances by a number of local artistes.  

     

    The Basement on Cayon Street – The Extreme party will kick off at this venue from 11:30 until.
