Police Press Release
    The following persons were arrested and charged between 14th and 15th July 2007;
     
    ·         Dion Roberts of Douglas Street, Newtown was charged with the offence of “Unlawful Sexual Intercourse” committed on 20th April 2007.
     
    ·         Clive Edwards of Taylors Village was charged with the offence of “Making use of Threatening Language” committed on 15th July 2007 at Carty Alley, Newtown.
     
    ·         Evan Daniel of Parsons was charged with the offence of “Larceny” of a laptop computer committed between 22nd and 23rd March 2006 at Project Strong.  ~~Adz:Right~~
     
    ·         Meschack Alford of St. Pauls was charged with the offence of “Wounding with Intent” committed on 17th June 2007 at St. Pauls Village.
     
    ·         Joseph Belgrove of Fountain Village, Nevis was charged with the offence of “Disorderly Conduct” by making noise committed on 15th July 2007 at Fountain Village, Nevis.
     
    ·         Glenroy Liburd of Rawlins Village, Nevis was charged with the offence of “Possession of a Controlled Drug” to wit cannabis, committed on 13th July 2007 at Hunkins Drive, Nevis.
     
    ·         Dwight Otto of Bath Village, Nevis was charged with the offence of “Possession of a Controlled Drug” to wit cannabis, committed on 12h July 2007 at Bath Village.
     
     
    On Friday 13th July 2007 at the Basseterre Magistrate Court, Dexter Huggins of Buckley’s Estate who was charged with the offences of “Indecent Exposure”, “Making use of Insulting Language” and “Making of Indecent Language” was convicted of all three charges. He was subsequently sentenced to serve three (3) months imprisonment with hard labour, deemed a “Rouge and a Vagabond” and cautioned respective to each charge. The offences were committed on 24th November 2006 at Basseterre.
     
    At approximately 2:30 a.m. on Saturday 14th July 2007, officers of the Royal St. Christopher and Nevis Police Force responded to a report of a breaking at New Pond Site. As a result a sixteen year old male of the Basseterre area was apprehended in a house after he was confronted by a tenant. A charge of “House Breaking With Intent” will be preferred against him at a later date.
