Netball Association urge public to support U-23 national team

Press Release

    BASSETERRE St. Kitts, June 28th 2011 - The countdown is on for the start of the ECCB/OECS U23 Netball Tournament this coming Saturday July 2nd. 

     

    The St. Kitts U23 Netball Team took to the streets of downtown Basseterre, last Saturday June 25th, encouraging the general public to come out in full support of Team St. Kitts. 

     

    The Kittitian team will face competitors from Anguilla, Antigua & Barbuda, Dominica, Grenada, Nevis, St. Lucia and St. Vincent & The Grenadines.

     

    Coach, Avonelle Julien and manager, Jillian Musgrave-Archibald expect a solid performance from our players and have both expressed confidence that the trophy will be won by the home team.

     

    Matches will be played at the Pam Tyson Netball Complex, Warner Park. 

     

    The grand opening takes place on Saturday July 2nd at 4:30pm and ensuing matches will begin at 6pm nightly thereafter. 

     

    The tournament comes to a close on Wednesday July 6th.
