Police Press Release
             ~~Adz:Left~~   The following persons were arrested and charged with offences between 17th and 19th July 2007;
     
    ·         Deverson Daniel of Downing Street, Sandy Point was charged with the offence of “Unlawful Carnal Knowledge” committed on 13th July 2007.
     
    ·         Dwight Peets of Cleverly Hill, Sandy Point was charged with the offences of “Driving Without Insurance”, “Driving without a valid drivers license” and ”Taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s consent” committed on 18th July 2007 at Fort Thomas Road.
     
    ·         Seymour Davis of St. Pauls Village was charged with the offence of “Larceny” committed between 8th and 10th June 2007.
     
    Nigel Newman of Water Works, Cayon was charged with the offence of “Indecent Exposure” when he exposed his person in the presence of children at Lover Lane Cayon on 11th June 2007. He was subsequently taken before the Basseterre Magistrate Court where he was convicted and sentenced to serve three (3) months imprisonment.
     
     
        On Thursday 19th July 2007 at the Basseterre Magistrate Court the following convictions were handed down;
     
    ·         Vanzel Guishard of Ottleys Village was convicted and fined $800.00 to be paid in three (3) months for the offence of “Careless Driving
     
    ·         Jason Williams of St. Peters was convicted and fined $500.00 to be paid in three (3) months or in default to serve one (1) month imprisonment for the offence of “Careless Driving”.
     
    ·         Wendell Nanton of Molyneaux was convicted and fined $500.00 to be paid in three (3) months or in default to serve one (1) month imprisonment for the offence of “Careless Driving”.
     
    ·         David Payne of Lower Monkey Hill was convicted and fined $100.00 to be paid in one (1) week or in default to serve seven (7) days imprisonment for the offence of “Parking in a Restricted Area”. ~~Adz:Right~~
     
    ·         Jennifer Loucks of Mattingley Heights was convicted and fined $800.00 to be paid in one (1) month or in default to serve fourteen (14) days imprisonment for the offence of “Careless Driving”.
     
    ·         Jennifer Snow of Bay View was convicted and fined $800.00 to be paid in one (1) month or in default to serve fourteen (14) days imprisonment for the offence of “Careless Driving”.
     
     
    On Wednesday 18th July 2007 at the Charlestown Magistrate Court, Anthony Hendricks of Craddock Road was convicted and sentenced to serve one (1) year imprisonment for the offence of “Larceny” committed on 6th July 2007 at Chapel Street, Charlestown.

     

     

     

     

     

     

     

    On Wednesday 18th July 2007, officers of the St. Pauls Police Station responded to a report made that Carl “Poco” Matthew had been found by his brother in the Dieppe Bay area.
     
    Matthew was reported missing under mysterious circumstances during the late hours of the night of Tuesday 17th July 2007. Police and family members made a search for him throughout the following day but were unsuccessful in finding him. However at approximately 8:20 p.m. an officer at the St. Pauls Station was informed by Matthew’s sister that her brother had been found and was now at his home.
     
    Officers visited Matthew and interviewed him as to his whereabouts over the past twenty-four hours. Investigations are continuing into this matter.
