Nicha B well received in Barbados and invited back
BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - AFTER treating Bajan spectators with some exceptional performances two weeks ago, Nicha B is expected to travel back to the island to perform for one of the island’s Crop over shows next month.
The ‘White Sheet’ singer was originally scheduled to spend one week in Barbados for a free Teen Concert but was asked to stay an extra week.
He then made did other performances at Reggae Lounge as well as St. Marks Place and at a tribute ceremony for a young man who lost his life.
According to Nicha, the experience was great. He said that during his performance most of the crowd just stood around, but it was after the concert he got some good feedback and was approached by many individuals asking for autographs.
He stated that he met and performed amongst some of Barbados' artistes, some of whom were interested in collaborating with him. He indicated that he was also well received and treated well as if he were one of their own.
Nicha was very appreciative of the invitation he received from Barbados and said he would like to say thank you to the Minister of Youth and Culture in Barbados as well as to Emanuel and Lamumba Baston for inviting him to the island and also for their kind patronage.
Tracks such as ‘School Time Lover’ and ‘Boost You Up’ have earned Nicha B a place in the spot light. He told SKNVibes that he recently recorded two new songs entitled ‘Choices’ and ‘Good Love’ featuring G-Skills, which are yet to be released.
He also hopes to release his much anticipated album later this summer which will feature all of his popular singles and more.
