(Basseterre; St. Kitts):  Hurricane Dean, the first hurricane in the Atlantic this season, has just passed through the Lesser Antilles and leaves tons of strong winds and rains in St. Kitts and Nevis, today Friday, August, 17.

However, the storm didn’t pass through without causing a little damage as it ‘huffed and puffed’ and blew a tree down in the TDC Parking Lot around 11 a.m. The parking lot is located on Bank Street behind Scotia Bank.

The large tree fell on several cars belonging to some of the workers of the company.
