    BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS (AUGUST 5TH 2004)
    – The ongoing construction of the La Valle Golf Course and the new Community Center in Sandy Point are expected to be among issues for discussion at a Town Hall Meeting at the Sandy Point High School this evening (Thursday).
     
    Parliamentary Representative, the Hon. Jacinth Henry-Martin will meet this evening at 7 ‘o’ clock with residents of Sandy Point, La Valle and Fig Tree, in what is another opportunity by residents to participate in the development of their community.
     
    Construction of the new Pogson Hospital, affordable homes, roads and improvement in other areas of infrastructural development are also expected to be discussed.

    St. Kitts & Nevis Prime Minister, Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas and other Government Officials will be present.
     
    Town Hall meetings were held recently in Challengers and Mansion.
     
    Government Ministers over the past years have been consulting with residents through various fora including one-and-one consultations at their respective Constituency Offices, Town Hall Meetings, Constituency Meetings and the annual “Face to Face.”
