~~Adz:Right~~On Thursday 6th September 2007, Lester “Eight Ball” Tross of Newtown surrendered himself into police custody.
A warrant was in existence for the arrest of Tross for the offence of “Shooting at with Intent” committed on 26th August 2007 at Newtown. Tross has been formally charged with the aforementioned offence and will appear before the Magistrate Court shortly to answer to the charge.
The police would also like to take this opportunity to thank the public for their cooperation.
The following persons were arrested and charged on Wednesday 5th September 2007;
• Alphonso Richards Francis of St. Pauls was charged with the offence of “Wounding with Intent” committed on 28th May 2007.
• Dave Morton of Lodge Project was charged with the offence of “Driving without Insurance” and “Driving without a valid or expired License” committed on 5th September 2007 at Ottley’s.
• A seventeen-year-old (17) male of The Alley, Sandy Point was charged with the offence of “Wounding” committed on 4th September 2007 at The Alley, Sandy Point.
