BASSETERRE St. Kitts – I screamed, you screamed, we all screamed for ice-cream last evening (July 16) at Scoops Inc.’s third birthday party.
The celebration took place at the entity’s Porte Zante location from 4:00 p.m. and wrapped up a little after its scheduled closing hour of 9:00 p.m.
Children of all ages went out in their numbers to enjoy the much-loved bouncing castle and horse rides. They also took advantage of treats such as hotdogs, cotton candy and popcorn that were provided free of cost by Scoops Inc.
Upon entrance at the party, the children were given gift bags which included colouring books, compliments Scoops Inc., as a token of appreciation.
Adults enjoyed all-day specials on selected dishes including Waffle Bowls and Sundaes.
Speaking with this publication, Scoops Inc.’s General Manager Kevroy Smith described the attendance as simply “good”.
He said that the turnout was a lot more than what he expected but was happy to see so many persons came out to celebrate with them.
Smith said that a party is usually held as an annual celebration but plans are afoot to host a mini-party on a monthly basis.
As part of the entertainment programme, persons were asked trivia questions and those with the correct answers received giveaways in the form of gift certificates for free ice-cream.
Musical entertainment was provided by DJ Yardy, whose selections were appropriate for both adults and children who danced evening away.
Scoops Inc. will officially turn three on Tuesday (July 19).
