BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – GLENVILLE ISLES, who was charged with shooting Fleurette Williams in her jaw, appeared in the Basseterre High Court before His Lordship Justice Errol Thomas today (July 19) and pleaded not guilty to attempted murder and wounding with intent to commit grievous bodily harm.
Both incidents were said to have occurred in Lower Monkey Hill on December 27, 2010.
According to a previous news article on this website, the 41-year-old Isles who resides at Upper College Street, Basseterre had allegedly shot Williams in her jaw at her Lower Monkey Hill home in the wee hours of Monday, December 27, 2010.
She was transported to the JNF Hospital, where she was treated for her injury and the case was traversed to the September 2011 Criminal Assizes.
Denzil Huggins was also arraigned today and had his case traversed to the September Assizes.
He is charged with ‘detaining of postal letters’ on April 1, 2006, where it is alleged that he neglected or refused to deliver the letters to a number of persons.
Huggins pleaded not guilty to the charge.
And the trial of Lincoln Storrod also began today.
Storrod is charged with having sexual intercourse with a certain female without her consent.
The prosecution team is being led by Rhonda Nisbett-Browne and they are alleging that the crime occurred on June 19, 2010 in Camps.
Storrod is unrepresented.
