    ROADTOWN Tortola,BVI, July 20th, 2011- The Ministry of Communications and Works is informing residents on Virgin Gorda that some roads will be closed and the electricity supply will be interrupted from midday today for the safe transfer of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).

     

    The transfer follows an incident involving the LPG tanker which overturned on the airport road yesterday.

     

    The roads to be closed are Crabbe Hill Road, from Speedy’s Corner up to the Ashford Walters Community Centre; Millionaire Road, from the Vanterpool Administration Building to the Methodist Church and the airport road.

     

    The roads will remain closed until further notice. During this time motorists are asked to take alternate routes if possible. The Ministry of Communications and Works apologises for any inconvenience caused.
