BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – LADIES! Get those sexy dresses in order as tomorrow (July 23) the LIME Grounds will be transformed into a festive atmosphere for Triple S - Sweet Sister Sensia’s Seventh Annual Birthday throw down.
Today marks the famous female DJ and radio personality’s Birthday but the celebration kicks off tomorrow dubbed Slimas Vs Fluffy Sexy Dress Affair.
According to Sister Sensia she decided on that theme because it is a way of boosting up the self esteem of bigger females.
“This is an affair where my big girls can rock it like the slim ones and be sexy too. We might not have the flat tummy or model shape but here in SK woman just got that roundness about them and they should flaunt it because they got it,” she explained.
She said patrons can expect a night filled with action and choices. “Some people think they will have to wait on the DJ to hear the band or wait on the band to hear the DJ but that’s not the way it’s going to be. It will be set for everyone to get the best of both worlds and have a great time,” she indicated.
Musically, entertainment will be provided by the lone female DJ herself along with Evolution Sounds, TNO Sounds, DJ Yardy, Sugar Bowl and Chalice Sound as well as the Grand Masters Band and the Nu Vybes Band International.
A number of performances are also scheduled to take place by Nicha B, Silk, Footsy, Serenity, DJ Rinch, Amiel and Dymanyzd.
The radio personality said there would also be a dance competition Slimas VS Fluffy where the winner gets a BlackBerry hand set compliments LIME, a case of drinks and cash for both dancers.
The Triple S DJ in inviting her fans and patrons out to her birthday celebration said, “This is your girl Triple S - Sweet Sister Sensia affair calling all my fans to come and enjoy it with me. Food will be free, my girl Debra will be catering and Hazel so come early and get your eats on. I also want to take time and big up all my sponsors for making my affair special. It’s going be great!
