Graphic and explicit local gang videos surface; Police aim to stamp out gangs

The local Police are exhausting every possible option to ensure that they make a serious indentation into the apparent increase in gang related activities and antics.
This was disclosed through a communiqué released by the “top brass” of the local Police Force, who met at the St. Kitts Marriott Hotel, on Wednesday, September 26th, to strategize as they intensify their fight against crime and violence.
The emergence of several home made music videos on www.youtube.com that promote gang formation, sex, crime and violence and drugs took precedence among the issues discussed.
According to the Police’s communiqué, says the lyrics in the videos are very explicit and very inciting.
“Head shot, bull’s eye shot them between the eye to make sure that they die. We gon make sure they mother s---- dead, even if we go to go on they hospital bed,” touts one video.
~~Adz:Right~~ “Badman never satisfy till every f….g one of them die,” another video titled “Dis Riverside- Sucide” blasts. It seemingly tells of what will happen to anyone who rivals the “Riverside Gang” and even goes so far as to boasts of having the guns to defend their turf.
To further underscore the brazen nature of these young fellows, there are videos depicting the action that will be taken against whoever defies the gangs- one graphically shows a person being beaten and placed in the trunk of a vehicle, while another gruesomely gives directions as to how to shoot someone to ensure that he or she dies.
Evidently, such blatant disregard for the social development and the inexplicable magnetism to such deviant behavior has raised more than the eye brows of the local Security Forces and residents but the “Lawmen” have pledged to do everything in their power to not only dismantle the so called gangs but also to curb the incidents of crime and violence.
In addition to gang activities, the other issues that were of high importance were an evaluation of the Police and other Security Forces’ performance over the past year and preparations for the upcoming tourism season.
“Turf war” has been blamed for a number of shooting incidents recently and the Police continue to implore residents to talk with them if they have any relevant information.
