St. George’s, Grenada, July  25th , 2011- Former Prime Minister of Grenada and Leader of Her Majesty’s Opposition Dr. the Rt. Hon. Keith Mitchell arrived in New York today as part of an international trip which ends in September.

Following a series of successful meetings and other activities in London, the Opposition Leader has already started a busy schedule in New York.  From there he will travel to Washington, Miami, Toronto and Montreal where he will be meeting with Grenadians, dignitaries, officials and potential investors. 

Some upcoming public activities on Dr. Mitchell’s schedule:

o   Meeting and Reception in Washington DC on July 29th

o   VIP award and Luncheon in New York on July 31st

o   Meeting in Miami on August 13th

o   Town Hall Meeting in Brooklyn on August 21st

o   Meetings and Fundraising activities in Toronto and Montreal on August 28th.

Dr. Mitchell, who is accompanied by Mr. Nicholas Steele, will be joined by Mrs. Alexandria Otway-Noel and Member of Parliament for Carriacou and Petite Martinique, Hon. Elvin Nimrod for the North American leg of the tour.
