    Lennox "Jah-Low" Gumbs" turned himself into Police custody

     

    Lennox "Jah-Low" Gumbs

     

    At approximately 11:20 a.m. on Wednesday 3rd October 2007, Lennox “Jah Low” Gumbs of St. Johnson Village turned himself in to Police at the Basseterre Police Station.
     
    A warrant for the arrest of Gumbs was in existence for the offence of “Shooting at with Intent” committed on Friday 28th September 2007.  Gumbs was later charged with the offence and will appear before the court shortly to answer to the charge.

    On Wednesday 3rd August 2007 at the High Court, Richard Morris of Conaree Village, who was indicted on a charge of “Murder” committed on 17th April 2006, was sentenced to serve five (5) years imprisonment for the lesser charge of “Manslaughter” to which he pleaded guilty to on Monday 1st October 2007.

    The following persons were also charged with offences on Tuesday 2nd October 2007; 

    • Troy Francis of Cayon Village was charged with the offence of “Robbery” committed on Monday 24th September 2007 when he allegedly robbed the driver of a delivery bus at gunpoint.

     

    • A fifteen-year-old male of Sprott Street, Basseterre was charged with the offence of “Making Use Threatening Language” committed on 1st October 2007 at the Basseterre High School.

     

    • Javier Charles of Bath Village, Nevis was charged with the offence of “Simple Wounding” committed on 30th September 2007 at Friars Bay on the Peninsula.
