    Local Companies Supporting Kittitian Expo
     

    ~~Adz:Left~~ The increased competitive nature of the business environment in the twin-island Federation of St. Kitts & Nevis is helping to influence the high level of corporate support that is being demonstrated for the local trade fair, Kittitian Expo 2007, which is to be staged later this month at the popular St. Kitts Marriott Resort in Frigate Bay.
     
    According to VhCommunications & Marketing Agency, organizers of the event, the companies that have registered to date represent a wide array of products and services that are available at enterprises involved in telecommunications, banking, insurance, agriculture, restaurant activities, craft, beverages, food, security, computer training, manufacturing, website development, clothing, courier services, cosmetology, body care, window designs, computers and electronics. The official said that they are very encouraged by the response to date and the public will be pleased with the variety of items that will be offered by exhibitors.
     
    One corporate executive has stated that his company decided to participate in the Expo because of the growing competition that is now evident in his line of business. He said that now there are more players in the market, it is critically important for his company to find creative ways to gain a greater share of the market and stay ahead of the competition.
     
    The two-day event is being described as a much needed platform, for local businesses to sensitize the buying public about the many different types of goods that are made and offered for sale, right here in the Federation. Meanwhile, other companies are using the Expo to launch new products and offer special deals to potential customers.
     
    Some of the companies that have so far confirmed their participation are UTS-Cariglobe, Cable & Wireless, Digicel, CVDS, First Caribbean International Bank, National Bank, Royal Bank of Canada, Bank of Nova Scotia, Zoe’ Total Body Care, Feet Relief, café Caribe, Dotcom, Compu Zone, DHL, Domus Inc., E-Caribbean, KVK Enterprises, Sun Island Clothes, T-Learning Centre, Lock-Hed Security, The Cable, St. Kitts Bottling Company, Department of Agriculture, Brown Sugar and Frank B Armstrong.
