By: Jenise Ferlance, SKNVibes

BASSETERRE St. Kitts – The International Monetary Fund (IMF), yesterday (July 28) said that the St. Kitts and Nevis economy is gradually recovering from a prolonged recession but fiscal imbalances and structural fragilities pose significant risks to the economic outlook.

A few days before, on July 23, President of the Chamber of Industry and Commerce (CIC), Michael Morton renewed the CIC’s call on the Government to stimulate the economy stating that if unsavoury features of certain cultures are brought here, the local private sector will not be able to compete and Government’s revenue will suffer.

Presented below is a short but very informative edition of the Weekly Business Update.

LIME – LIME on July 27, presented the winner of their Old Phone Contest with a Blackberry 9780. The photo that was submitted by the winner was estimated to be about 100 years old.
