    Jamal Foreman, Denzil Edwards and Ivan Edwards sentenced to 14 days imprisonment

     

    ~~Adz:Left~~ The following persons were convicted at the Basseterre Magistrate Court on October 16th 2007 for wounding committed 2nd August 2007: 

    Jamal Foreman, Denzil Edwards and Ivan Edwards all of Stapleton Village were sentenced to 14 days in prison with hard labour and ordered to pay compensation of $1,000.00 to the complainant in four months or in default serve three months in prison. 

     

    Thomas Welcome of Molyneaux was convicted at the Sandy Point Magistrate Court for being a nuisance to the public by playing loud music.  He was placed on probation for 12 months in the sum of $1,000.00, and prohibited from playing his television or stereo loudly.  Any breach of the order Welcome will be taken back to the court for sentencing.
     
    Dave Richardson of Saddlers Village who was charged with the offence of making use of threatening language was placed on a probation for 6 months in the sum of $2,000.00, he is to keep the peace during this period, in default he will serve 2 months hard labour.
