BASSETERRE, St. Kitts: 4th August, 2011 - “There are many customers who would have loved to be in your place this morning,” said LIME’s Corporate Communications Manager as she introduced the very lucky winner of LIME’s Rhianna concert promotion to the media. Mr Wicliffe Morris sandwiched between LIME’s General Manager David Lake and Laverne Caines, managed to contain the excitement as his name was announced.
His mobile number emerged from the hundreds of entrants, who responded to the promotion through text, or purchased and/or upgraded a Blackberry package for a chance to win concert tickets to Rhianna’s Loud Concert in her home town Barbados. The reserved Police Officer said he sent a couple of text messages hoping that he would be lucky.
Two goody bags filled with party paraphernalia completed the presentation to the Police Constable, just before Mr Lake offered congratulations to him. “We want to make sure you represent the proud LIME brand at the concert, so make good use of these bandanas as you party at the concert,” said Mr Lake.
His winning prize package entitles him to a trip for two to Barbados, ground transportation to and from the airport and hotel and accommodation inclusive of all meals and beverages, at the Sea Breeze Beach Hotel and two VIP Concert Tickets.
Asked to describe how he felt when he received the call that he won, Mr Morris’ response was simply: ‘awesome’. “LIME has done a wonderful job to organise this promotion that has given me a once in a lifetime opportunity to witness this concert,” he added.
“We hope you find time to share the excitement with our customers by sending updates via our Face book page. We would love to be able to sample some of the fun and excitement from St. Kitts & Nevis,” hinted LIME’s Corporate Communications Manager, Laverne Caines.
Mr Morris and his guest will meet up with winners from across the region who won in similar promotions held in LIME’s businesses.
