BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – RENOWNED female actress, Juliette Jeffers, with roots from the Federation will soon be sharing some of her experiences and work as an actress with a Caribbean audience, as she will be  staging one of her major plays in St. Kitts before the end of the year.

Jeffers, whose father hails from Nevis and mother from Montserrat, grew up in the US where she lived in Los Angeles (LA) and now resides in New York.

She has played roles in a number of American sitcoms and series that include Martin, Young and the Restless, Grey’s Anatomy, Fresh Prince of Bellaire, and ER.

Jeffers’ face is also familiar from a number of commercials which include Tylenol, MasterCard, Progressive Insurance, Playtex Bras and Tostitos.

The stage play entitled ‘Batman and Robin in the Boogie Down’ sees Jeffers playing 18 different characters. According to her, it is a one woman show about her and her brother Lloyd Jeffers growing up in the Bronx and the different people around them.

She told this media house that the play is a combination of drama and comedy that would make you laugh and make you sad at the same time.

Although she is uncertain about the date and venue for the event she promises that the play is the type that everyone could enjoy.

Jeffers noted that the show would also be a tribute to her brother as he passed away in 1996.

The multi talented actress, who does great impersonations, is also known for a another play she penned titled ‘Chocolate Match.com’.

Jeffers had her first opportunity to produce in 2005 when she along with four other women produced ‘Ah-Ha Moments’ which she rated as a great experience.

When Jeffers is not spending her time on stage or behind cameras she enjoys belly dancing, crocheting and cooking.
