Carib Brewery gives reading books to school

Basseterre; St. Kitts: Carib Brewery, through their Vita Malt brand, once again demonstrated its commitment to quality education with the donation of 59 reading books to the Dr. William Connor Primary School, in a ceremony on Wednesday morning, 24th October.
Mr. Steve Laplace, a member of the Carib Brewery’s Managerial team, made the presentation to Mrs. Yvette Wallace, Education Officer responsible for the Dr. William Connor School, who in turn handed them over to Mr. Anthony Wiltshire, the school’s Principal.
Mr. Laplace noted that his company was very pleased to be able to make the contribution to the school and noted that their action is reflective of their strong belief in doing whatever they can to ensure that every child gets a quality education.

Principal Wiltshire said he was extremely pleased with the Carib Brewery’s gesture, as it allows the remedial students to have the necessary reading material to assist them in their quest for improved reading skills.
He commended Laplace and the rest of his company, noting that every time his school has sought the assistance of the company, they have responded positively and he also appealed to other corporate citizens to emulate their generosity.
In addition, to Wiltshire’s praises, the Carib Brewery, through their Vita Malt brand, also received much commendation from the rest of the school’s staff.
