    Business Update – Cultural knot tightening!

     

    BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – FOLLOWING two weeks of what was described as a “fruitful exchange programme”, the cultural links between St. Kitts and Nevis and the Republic of China (Taiwan) are now deemed much stronger than they were before.

     

    With the knot of culture tightening, it is hoped that this will assist in making tighter the other links between the two.

     

    Presented below is another edition of what is happening in the business arena in St. Kitts.

     

    OCEAN’S EDGE - The official launch of the Poolside Residences as well as the next phase of development on the Ocean’s Edge resort, took place on July 28. The Poolside Residences will form the centre point of the Ocean’s Edge project, and the accommodation will comprise of studio, one and two bedroom apartments with lovely views of the swimming pool and some with ocean views. The new Residences will make up the hotel complex on the resort.

     

    DIGICEL – The bigger, better network continues its 3:45 promotion where customers have the luxury of paying only 45 cents per minute on any local call after talking on their phone for just three minutes. Customers can talk Digicel to Digicel, Digicel to landline and even Digicel to any other local mobile network - just talk for three minutes and pay only 45 cents per minute after.

     

    Digicel is also continuing their ‘Talk & Win Cash’ promotion where customers who talk for at least 3 minutes per day on one call qualify to win $2,000 weekly. Digicel’s weekly cash giveaway commenced on July 15. It was launched on Digicel’s Entertainment Buzz broadcast from 2:30pm-3:00pm on Freedom FM alternating every Friday with Choice FM from 3:00pm – 3:30pm

     

    Digicel’s Talk & Win CASH Promotion will run until Friday 2nd September with cash awarded to the winners.

     

    RAMS – Rams now have new opening hours. Customers are now offered longer hours to get their grocery shopping done. Opening hours are Monday to Thursday 8:30 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 8:30 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

     

    S L HORFORDS & COMPANY LTD. - The Furniture and Appliances Department of S L Horfords & Company Ltd., continues its cash back promotion where consumers will receive cash back coupons for free groceries with every Higher Purchase made.

     

    Consumers will also be given a chance to win a free living room set, dining room set, bedroom set or a kitchen appliances package with every EC $100 spent. This promotion runs from June to December 2011.
    Horsford’s Valu Mart IGA’s customers are now able to shop later and longer as they are now offering new opening hours. New opening hours are Monday to Thursday 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., Friday and Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m., and Sunday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

     

    KVK ENTERPRISES - KVK Enterprises' Summer Camp 'Dare 2 Be Different' continues throughout the entire summer with courses on Computer, Art, Reading Readiness, and Craft. Ongoing registration is available.

     

    Parents/Guardians can also get their children's school bags embroidered with the child/children's name for just EC$20.
