    Man Ordered to Pay $9,500 after Found Guilty of Causing Grievous Bodily Harm

    (Basseterre; St. Kitts):
    Quincy Wilson who was found guilty of Causing Grievous Bodily Harm received his punishment for the crime today, Tuesday, Oct. 30, with a fine of $2,500 to be paid in twelve months default twelve months in prison.
     
    The incident occurred on Oct. 7, 2005 in Cayon involving Owen Hunkins of Cayon.
     
    Wilson was also ordered by His Lordship Francis Belle to pay a compensation fee of $7,000 in 12 months default 12 months in prison.
     
    Hunkins told His Lordship that his Hospital bill was $7,000 to which the Judge passed the ruling unto Wilson.
     

    Hunkins said that he was a patient of the Joseph N. France Hospital because of the incident until May, 2, 2006.
