| Sir Lee Llewellyn Moore, KCMG, QC. | Basseterre, St. Kitts (September 10, 2004): September 16th, observed as National Heroes’ Day is also the date set for the renaming of the Judicial and Legal Complex to the Sir Lee Llewellyn Moore, KCMG, QC. Judicial and Legal Services Complex.
The date was specifically chosen for the official renaming ceremony, because of the latethat Sir Lee Moore’s distinguished achievements. His commitment and works classified him as contributing significantly to the Nation’s development.
The illustrious legal practitioner who obtained the coveted position of Queen’s Counsel demonstrated unswerving commitment to country, the legal fraternity and to his fellow man.
The renaming ceremony will take place on Thursday 16th September at 9:00 a.m. in the presence of distinguished government officials including Prime Minister Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas and Attorney General and Minister of Legal Affairs Hon Delano F. Bart, legal practitioners, friends, family and well-wishers.
The Late Sir Lee Llewellyn Moore passed away in May 2000. |
