Third leg of Golden Rock Regatta heads out to sea on Thursday
BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, NOVEMBER 14TH 2007 (CUOPM) – At least 10 yachts with some 60 sailors aboard dropped anchor at St. Kitts’ Frigate Bay on Wednesday afternoon, ending the second leg of the annual Golden Yacht Regatta, a new Caribbean boat racing calendar.

The fleet, which departed the neighboring French island of St. Barth’s on Sunday headed first for St. Marten, then on to St. Eustatius (Statia), before anchoring in St. Kitts.
The boaters were welcomed by a string band and Permanent Secretary in the Ministry of Tourism, Mr. Lloyd Lazar.
The third leg of the Golden Rock Regatta starts around 9 ‘o’ clock Thursday morning when the fleets heads out to sea.
