    Bmobile unveils Gimme $5…….NO CREDIT, NO PROBLEM!
     
     
     
    Basseterre, ST. KITTS – The Caribbean’s leading Telecommunications Company today unveiled a new value added service that it expects to go a long way towards living up to its mobile brand’s mantra – “it feels good.”
     
    “Gimme 5”the launch name of the new service (which translates into “Give me $5”) does just what the name says – it allows bmobile customers with less than $5 on their prepaid accounts to request a $5 advance credit by simply sending a text message “GM5” to the short code number 126. Within a matter of seconds $5 will be added to the subscriber’s account.
     
    Mr. David Lake, VP MOBILE and Consumer Sales commented, “sometimes it may be difficult to top up right when you want to, depending on your location and/or the time of day. Gimme $5 service is for the customer already indoors at night, runs out of credit and simply wants to finish a conversation.  For customers in remote areas, or out on the town at night and need to make an important call; for the subscriber waiting for cash to pay for their next top up but still needs to make a call. This is our way of ensuring that whether it is an emergency or you just need to keep the communication line open for just for a little longer, we are there for you and really prove that with bmobile it feels good!”
     
    Customers using this service will have the $5 deducted from their account automatically on their next top-up transaction. In their balance confirmation text it will show the top-up amount, the Gimme $5 deduction and their net new balance.
