| Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant |
The Haynes Smith Youth Club Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Committee is busy formulating plans for the staging of the 25th Anniversary of The Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant to be held this year on Wednesday 29th December 2004.
According to the Chairman of the Pageant Committee, Mr. Antonio Maynard, there are several activities that have to be executed in order to commemorate this very important milestone in the pageant history.
These activities includes:
- The production of a 25th Anniversary Magazine which will serve to highlight and record the major achievements of the pageant over the years.
- A Video production and documentary focusing on the highlights of the shows throughout the years.
- An exciting website will also be created in order to improve the communication of the pageant through the Caribbean and globally.
- 25 past and present members of the committee will also be honoured for their significant contribution throughout the years.
According to Mr. Maynard, in addition to these activities, the product of the show will feature many of the past queens.
Twelve to fourteen countries are expected to confirm their participation in this year’s pageant.
The Haynes Smith Youth Club Miss Caribbean Talented Teen Pageant is the most prestigious pageant of it’s kind in the Caribbean. The pageant has featured world renowned Caribbean personalities, including Machel Montano, Tommy Joseph and Rachel Price.
