ROADTOWN Tortola BVI, August 31st, 2011  – The Inland Revenue Department is reminding property owners in the Virgin Islands that in accordance with the Property Tax Ordinance, Cap 207 (as amended), property tax for the year 2011 is due and payable on the September 1, 2011.

Taxpayers are allowed, November 30, 2011 to make payments without a penalty. Property Tax is payable at the Inland Revenue Department’s main office at the Central Administration Complex, Wickham’s Cay, Tortola.

For property owners on Virgin Gorda, payments can be made at the Inland Revenue Department in the Vanterpool Administration Building, The Valley.

Owners on Anegada can contact district officers, Ms. Andrea Vanterpool and on Jost Van Dyke, Mrs. Carmen Blyden.

Payments in respect of West End/Mount Sage and East End/Long Look properties may be made at the district’s Post Office only within the month of September.
