BASSETERRE, St. Kitts – THE newly formed promotional entertainment group I-Land Lyme Entertainment will be hosting their first event on September 17, 2011 in the form of a boat ride dubbed ‘Tattoos and Summer Bodies’ onboard the Lapinta.
The boat will leave Port Zante at 6:00 p.m. sharp with music by Freedom Sounds and DJ Yardy. Tickets for the event are EC$130 for VIP or EC$100 regular with unlimited food and drinks all inclusive.
According to Rodelle Rawlins, owner of the entertainment company, some of the proceeds will be donated to the Cayon High School to help with Physical Education (PE) equipment.
I-Land Lyme is the brain child of Rawlins but is also backed by a team that includes Sharima Burke, Geron Gumbs, Denzil Stapleton and Melva Isaac all of whom graduated from the Cayon High School.
Rawlins said one of their key objectives is to bring a new and different type of entertainment to the island.
He said they would also be teaming up with other promoters to host events. Rawlins added that not only would they be organising their own events but they would also be available for planning and promoting other people’s events.
The group is also gearing up to host their second event in November, which will be a Scorpio party.
