    Young father gunned down; two shootings in one night

    The Police are investigating two separate shooting incidents, on Tuesday night, November 28th, which left one young man dead and another nursing a gunshot wound to the hand.
     
    Twenty six year old Damian “QB” Dias, of Pitcairn Street, Newtown, was shot several times while at the junction of Pitcairn Street and George Street, just after 10 last night (Tuesday). Dias was allegedly shot in the head and another part of the body and succumbed to his injuries.
     
    Unconfirmed reports state that Dias was attacked by two masked assailants who approached him on a motorbike.
     
    Ironically, Dias’ daughter turned three today (Wednesday), and his son will be making 4 in December.
     
    In another incident, on the junction of Fort Thomas Road and Thibou Avenue, in the McKnight area, Crispin Crossley was shot in his arm.
     
    It is alleged that the young man was shot in the arm while fleeing from his attacker(s).
     
    Up to the posting of this article, there was no established link between the shootings.
     
    Last night's murder was the sixteenth in the federation.~~Adz:Right~~
