BASSETERRE, ST. KITTS, NOVEMBER 30TH 2007 (CUOPM) - The date for the Seventh Annual Prime Minister’s New Year’s Gala hosted by the Hon. Dr. Denzil L. Douglas has been announced.
Chairperson of the Gala Committee, the Hon. Marcella Liburd said the gala event will take place at the Grand Ballroom of the St. Kitts Marriott Resort on Saturday 5th January 2008.According to Ms. Liburd, the featured speaker, yet un-named, will be one of international acclaim.
Guest Speakers at previous galas included prominent United Congresswoman, the Hon. Maxine Waters; Actress Cicely Tyson; Nation of Islam Leader, the Hon. Louis Farahkahan; Emmy Award
