Woman from Green Valley Dies

(Basseterre; St. Kitts): Brenda Burroughs, a well known woman from Cayon died this morning unexpectedly in her home.

According to a Police press release they responded to a report at about 9:30 a.m. today December, 5 where they found 40-year-old Burroughs at her home motionless.

The district medical doctor visited the scene and pronounced her dead.  No foul play is suspected and investigations are ongoing.

Burroughs was also actively involved with the Green Valley Festival which originates from Cayon and was the chairperson for the Sponsorship committee of the festival and also promotions.

She was also an employee at the Caribbean Credit Card Cooperation.

According to the managers of the website Burroughs had posted an item about Green Valley as recent as last evening, the night before she passed.
