ROADTOWN Tortola BVI, September 8th 2011 -- Up and Coming local artiste Travis Walters who made his mark at the Follow the Movement (FTM) sponsored Zrod Top 7 at 7 Countdown both last year and this year; has been selected by R.A.Y.D.A.R., an International Entertainment Management Company for a program that will turn him into a superstar.

R.A.Y.D.A.R. Has played a role in the career of Verse Simmons from St. Thomas; as well as other international artiste, It is also the home of St. Thomas’ Rock City duo

The program will span six months during which time Travis will be promoted to major record labels in the United States. He will also be featured in international media; and have music video shot that will highlight the territory.
Follow the Movement will be the overseer of the program and will ensure that the deals are fair, appropriate and satisfactory.

It is expected that through the provision of recording and publicity agreements Walters would be able to garner pre-arranged and negotiated gigs.

Following the FTM organized ceremony on September 9th, Walters will be traveling to Altanta where he will be based for the next six months. While in Atlanta Travis will be recording at various professional studios, working with top writers and producers, training with top choreographers; undergoing media training; as well as vocal lessons and other talent related training.

R.A.Y.D.A.R stated that they are confident that within the prescribed time frame Walters would achieve the status of being a solid, grounded, rapidly rising international artiste in the United States of America. As such, R.A.Y.D.A.R has already committed towards ensuring that this is accomplished: “We remain confident that after the six months duration that the artiste would be able to generate sufficient and adequate materials, thus being of a high standard which would ultimately result in Travis Walters being able to compete effectively on the international stage,” R.A.Y.D.A.R. representatives stated.

Craig Lake President of Follow the Movement referred to the announcement as an historical moment for Walters and FTM. Lake said: “This is what we were looking for this type of in tress.” He announced that the R.A.Y.D.A.R. agreement is a result of FTM’s decision to bring international artistes and A&R representatives to observe the artistes at the last award show.

He explained that R.A.Y.D.A.R. representatives as well as talent scouts from the organization were present at the show and obviously saw something in Travis. Craig Lake will also like to extend sincere thanks to the BVI Government for partnering in such a venture, especially the Honourable Minister of Education and Culture, Hon. Andrew Fahie as well as Mr. Bevis Sylvester, Regional Manager for Delta Petroleum; and all the sponsors in the private sector who saw the need to create such avenues for the youths.

Minister of Education and Culture, Hon. Andrew Fahie said that the Ministry of Education is proud of Travis and his accomplishments: “We are proud to be a part of this area, because it is an industry that continues to develop in our territory especially among our young people. This will create a new market in the BVI and will be a boost to our economy in areas such as music tourism, a niche area.”

Bevis Sylvester speaking on behalf of Delta Petroleum, (a Corporate partner of Follow the Movement) announced: “Delta petroleum shares in Travis’ dream to be one of the best representing the BVI. As a private sector enterprise we are proud that we can partner with Follow the Movement and see such things coming to fruition.

This is the beginning of a new era. We have so many talents being portrayed and we have now created an avenue whereby we can hit not only regional but international stage.”

Follow the Movement will be providing updates on Travis’ success as he undergoes his various training phases.
