Latest Ocean’s Edge Resort Milestone Marks High Point in the Development’s Progress
St. Kitts & Nevis, December 14, 2007 – Cable Bay Hotel Development Company and Newfound, the award-winning international developer and operator of luxury resorts, today announced the topping out of the first condominium at Ocean’s Edge Resort (www.oceansedgestkitts.com) located in North Frigate Bay on the Caribbean island of St. Kitts.
To mark the occasion, Cable Bay Hotel Development Company will be co-hosting a topping out event with NH International (Caribbean) Limited, the project’s general contractor, at the Ocean’s Edge sales office in Frigate Bay, today Friday, December 14 from 4pm to 6pm. Additionally, Cable Bay Hotel Development Company plans to work with local area schools in 2008 to create a time capsule to be buried below the foundation of the resort’s entrance fountain.

The development covers 40 acres and comprises 185 units including one- and two-bedroom beachfront apartments, two-bedroom hillside apartments with individual plunge pools, two-bedroom semi-detached garden cottages and a choice of three- to four-bedroom villas. A variety of leisure and entertainment facilities are planned, including a clubhouse, recreation centre, restaurants, pools and tennis courts. The resort is designed by OBM International, one of the Caribbean’s leading architectural consultancies.
