TDC Early Bird Sale Attracts Huge Crowd

~~Adz:Left~~ (Basseterre; St. Kitts): The TDC “Early Bird” Sale attracted hundreds of shoppers to it’s Home and Building Depot located on the Frigate Bay Road, early Saturday morning, December 15.
As early as 4 .a.m. about one hundred shoppers were lined up outside the doors waiting for the chance to get up to a 30% discount on items. The sale started from 5 a.m. and lasted until 7 a.m.
For those who were unable to get the 30% discount they still had the opportunity to capitalize on the 25% special sale which lasted from 7 a.m. until the store closed.
Nick Menon, a Director at TDC, said it was a thrill to see the customers so excited with the sale. It was quite visible that they really appreciated our efforts to give back something to them for the Christmas season.
“It was a social occasion and a lot of people came out with their friends and family and our staff gave an extra special effort. Some of them came as early as three this morning to prepare for the sale,” he said.
The Home and Building Depot also offered a special discount on their Dae Woo Refrigerators with an added 10 per cent discount and they also brought in new furniture as well as extra household items.
A customer said that he has been coming to the sale every year and noted that the only thing he dislikes are the long cashier queues.
“What I usually do is come to the store a couple of days earlier and look around and make a list of things that I want and mark where they are so that I can have less hassle,” he said.
