                                17 Year Old Juvenile Convicted for "Possession of Cannabis"

    ~~Adz:Left~~ On Monday 17th December 2007, Aris Versailles of Sandy Point was convicted for the offence of "Possession of Cocaine" and fined ten-thousand dollars ($10,000.00) to be paid in six months or serve four years in prison if the fine is not paid.
     
    A 15 and a 16-year-old juvenile from Fort Thomas Road, Basseterre, were both convicted for the offence of "Malicious Damage" and was placed on probation to keep the peace and to be of good behavior for a two year period. In addition, they are to observe a curfew from 6 p.m to 7 a.m daily and are ordered to pay compensation in the sum of one-hundred dollars ($100.00) each in two weeks or serve fourteen days in prison.
     
    Gretshon Powell of Stapleton Village was convicted for the offences of "Driving without due care and Attention", Failure to produce a License within 48 hours and Failure to produce Insurance in five days. 

    For the offence of "Driving without due care and Attention", he was fined eight-hundred dollars ($800.00) to be paid in three months or serve one month in prison if the fine is not paid, and for the offence of Failure to produce a License within 48 hours, he was fined two-hundred and fifty dollars ($250.00) to be paid in two months or serve fourteen days in prison. He was cautioned for the offence of Failure to produce Insurance in five days.
     
    Clifton Gordon of Stapleton was convicted for the offences of Failure to produce Insurance within five days and for Failure to produce a License within 48 hours. For the offence of "Failure to produce Insurance", he was fined two-hundred dollars ($250.00) to be paid in two months or serve fourteen days in prison. He was cautioned for the offence of Failure to produce a License within 48 hours.
     
    A 17-year-old juvenile from St. Pauls was convicted for the offences of "Escaping Lawful Custody" and for "Threatening Language. "He was placed on probation for twelve months in the sum of two-thousand dollars ($2000.00) and is to attend counseling for three months for Drugs and Alcohol abuse and is not to be found in the company of undesirables. He is also not to be found in an area call “The Ghetto”, in St. Pauls.
     
    A 17-year-old juvenile from Saddlers Village was convicted for the offence of Possession of Cannabis and was placed on probation for 12 months and is to attend counseling and is also expected to observe a curfew from 7 p.m to 7 a.m daily.
     
    On Monday 17th December 2007, police arrested and charged Thomas Martin of Dieppe Bay on two counts of "Battery" on Police committed on 17th December 2007.

    He will appear before the court shortly.
