BASSETERRE, St. Kitts - If you thought delivering pizza was the only cause for his popularity, think again, as Alinston Archibald more popularly known as Pizza Boy caused the Verchild’s Home Grown crowd to erupt in cheers and applause on Friday night (Sep. 16) as he sang the lyrics to his now popular pizza tune.
He came on stage during the Upstairs Family performance at the Home Grown Festival and immediately sent the crowd in an uproar as many people know him to be quite a comedian.
At first when he began to sing it was difficult to make out the lyrics as the cheers were so loud but as the DJs say “Pull up”, it was from the top again with the pizza song.
As a proud Dominos Pizza Delivery Boy, he had gladly embraced the name ‘Pizza Boy’ as he was called by his peers and the name had stuck on him.
Before you knew it he was chanting lyrics to a song which became popular with the females and even more popular in the streets.
However, the next time you hear the song don’t be surprised if it is different as every time he performs the song the lyrics seem to change but rest assured it will be about pizza.
In some of the lyrics he tells the ladies they could get a small, a medium or a large pizza or they could even get ‘a cheesy bread’.
Pizza Boy usually performs his unpredictable pizza song alongside the Upstairs Family which is normally a hit with the crowd.
