Chelston Hanley of Cotton Ground, Nevis charged with "Larceny"
~~Adz:Left~~{Basseterre; St. Kitts} On Friday 11th January 2008, police arrested and charged Rudolph Carty of Prickley Pear Alley for the offence of being found in enclosed premises.
Chasarae Furlance of Fig Tree was arrested and charged on 12th January 2008 for the offence of Possession of Cannabis, committed on 12th January 2008.
Chelston Hanley of Cotton Ground, Nevis, was arrested and charged on 12th January 2008 for the offence of Larceny, committed on 8th January 2008.
Novel Brathwaite of Rawlins Village, Nevis, was arrested and charged on 12th January 2008 for the offence of Larceny, committed on 9th January 2008.
A 15-year-old juvenile from Sprott Street, Basseterre, was arrested and charged on 12th January 2008 for the offence of Larceny, committed on 30th December 2007.
All persons will appear before the court shortly.
Operations Conducted
On Friday 11th January 2008, police in Nevis conducted stop and search operations for controlled drugs, arms and ammunition. Dexter
Sommersall of Lower Prickley Pear Alley, Basseterre, was stopped and searched and a quantity of Crack Cocaine was found in his possession and taken into police custody. As a result of the find, Sommersall was arrested and charged for the offence of Possession of Crack Cocaine.
Police executed search warrants on 12th January 2008 on a property in Stapleton Village and a plastic bag containing Marijuana was found on the owner of the premises and taken into police custody. Investigation into this matter is ongoing.
