    Dwayne Freeman arrested and charged for "House Breaking" and "Larceny"
     

    SEARCH WARRANTS EXECUTED
     

    {Basseterre; St. Kitts} On January 15th 2008, the Security Forces executed two search warrants on premises in Frigate Bay and Earle Mornes for firearms, ammunitions, drugs and items used in the commission of a crime, nothing to satisfy the warrants were found.

     However, six (6) persons from the two residences were arrested on suspicion of arson. They were taken into custody at the Basseterre Police Station where they were interviewed and subsequently discharged. The investigation continues.

    On January 15th 2008, at about 2:20 pm, during a routine patrol in the area of the Washington High School the Police met a group of about seven (7) students of the said school loitering at the back of a nearby church. They were questioned and searched by the Police. 

    Nothing illegal was found on their person, but a 12 gauge flare gun, a 12 gauge shot gun round, a knife, a screw driver and a cigarette lighter were found on the ground near the area where the boys were. The items were recovered and the boys were taken to the Basseterre Police Station where they were further questioned and released. No one has been charged in relation to the find. Investigations are on going.

     

    ARRESTS
    On January 15th 2008, Police arrested and charged a 17 years old juvenile of Sandown Road for being armed with an offensive weapon.  He was later released on bail and will appear in court shortly. ~~Adz:Right~~
     
    On January 15th, Police also arrested and charged Dwayne Freeman of Rawlins Village, Gingerland for House Breaking and Larceny which was committed on 23rd November 2007 at Jessups.
     
    COURT CONVICTION
    On January 15th 2008 presiding magistrate for district C Nevis, convicted the following person and handed down sentence as follows:
     
    Beverson Mills of Barnaby Village was convicted and sentenced to prison for six (6) months, for unlawfully throwing missiles to the danger of persons on November 3rd 2007.
