Renewal of Firearm Licences, Permits and Certificates
~~Adz:Left~~ Basseterre, St. Kitts: It is notified for general information that licensing under the Firearms Act No. 23 of 1967 will be conducted during the month of January 2008, at the following times and places:
In St. Kitts- at the Basseterre Police Station – Police Supply Stores.
In Nevis at the Charlestown Police Station – Divisional Office.
Monday to Thursday – 8:30 am to 12:30 pm
Fridays 8:30 am to 12:00 noon
1:30 pm to 3:00 pm
Please note the following:-
1. Persons must present their last receipt, Firearm Licence and weapon(s).
2. Upon arrival at the Police Station all weapons must be cleared, i.e free from ammunition.
3. Persons failing to pay the prescribed fee on or before 31st January 2008 shall be guilty of an offence, and on summary conviction will be liable to a fine not exceeding Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000.00) or to a term of imprisonment for a term not less than twelve (12) months.
