Search Warrants Executed in Ottleys, Challenger and Sandy Point Area
~~Adz:Left~~ Basseterre, St. Kitts: On Friday 25th January 2008, members of the security forces executed search warrants on a number of premises at Ottley’s Village for controlled drugs, arms and ammunitions. As a result of the operation, a quantity of Cannabis was found at the premises of Rohan Browne. Both Browne and the drugs were taken into police custody. Investigations are ongoing.
Members of the security forces executed search warrants on several premises on Friday 25th January 2008, in the Challengers area. A portion of Cannabis was found at the premises of Delroy Simmonds of Challengers Village. Delroy Simmonds, Shane Rawlins, Craig Murray along with the drugs were taken into police custody. Investigations are ongoing.
On Saturday 26th January 2008, police officers searched an abandoned house at Salt Pond Alley and found a quantity of Cannabis. As a result of the find, two 17-year-old juveniles of Upper Fiennes Avenue and Thibou Ave respectively along with a 15-year-old juvenile from Fort Thomas Road who were all in the house were taken into police custody.
