                        Police found large quanity of marijuana at Downing Street, Sandy Point

    ~~Adz:Left~~ Basseterre, St. Kitts:
    On Friday 25th January 2008 police found a large quantity of Marijuana in a large plastic garbage bag hidden on an empty plot of land at Downing Street, Sandy Point. No one was made accountable for the find but investigations are ongoing.
     
    On Saturday 26th January 2008, police uprooted seventy (70) marijuana plants in Lavington and took them into custody. The plants ranged in height from seedlings to about three feet. Investigations are ongoing.
     
    On Sunday 27th January 2008 police officers searched an old abandoned house at Downing Street, Sandy Point, and found one-hundred and eleven (111) pots containing one-hundred and forty (140) marijuana plants and took them into police custody.  No one was held accountable for the find and the plants were subsequently destroyed.
