Two men arrested in relation to Federation’s first murder

Basseterre, St. Kitts: Two men are currently in police custody having been arrested on suspicion of committing the Federation’s first murder which occurred in Nevis.
The offence was committed on Tuesday evening and left 28 year old Leon Westerman died.
Information reaching SKNVibes, is that Westerman was grabbing a bite at a Spanish Bar located in the vicinity of Low Street, when he was approached by two masked men and shot several times.
Other reports suggest that the wounded man stumbled into the street where he was found by a police patrol unit.
He was transported to the Alexandra Hospital where he lost the battle for his life. ~~Adz:Right~~
Head of the Police Force’s Press and Public Relations Office, Inspector Cromwell Henry, told SKNVibes that the two men who are both from St. Kitts were arrested yesterday, and the day before, respectively.
Investigations into the matter are ongoing.
